#HealthbyDesign means thinking about the potential health impacts of your design as you design it, not as an afterthought. The process by which you arrive at a design is just as important as the design itself. I’m specifically interested in the intersection of data and health, meaning I need to consider the impact my work may be making on patients and their wellbeing. After finishing my degree, I hope to work in a health system dealing with either clinical informatics or population health analytics. I hope to use my analytic and design skills to better the patient experience and gain meaningful insights through health-related data.
