Where are the critical points of decision in the life of a diabetic?

Fall 2025 class students focused on identifying and exploring critical decision points in the lives of diabetic individuals and families where conscious choices are made and examined the potential influence of design on these moments. Through individual projects ranging in scale, students developed creative strategies to impact decision-making processes while linking their design intent to research that enhances desired health outcomes.

Each proposal was evaluated and analyzed along the design continuum—a spectrum of scales including information, product, interior, architecture, urban realm, and policy. The projects showcased a summary of research, accompanied by images and descriptions, illustrating how innovative design solutions can guide and support healthier choices within campus environments.
